Race Day

 Race Day Registration

Registration will be open at 6:30am for racers to pick up race packets and shirts.  We will then promptly close registration at 7:45am so we can start the first race!

 Start Times for the Kayathlon.

Solo racers will start at 8:00am

2 person teams, and relay teams will start @ 8:10am

Race day Rules:

Have FUN!!!!  This is our second year putting on the Kayathlon in the Twin Falls area, so yes, some things might not go as smoothly as other races you have participated in previously.  Make sure we can see your race numbers on the FRONT of your body, not the side or the back, but on the FRONT of you.  Obey all traffic laws pertaining to the proper event, we are running and cycling on county and city roads so watch out for, and be courteous to all vehicles, pedestrians and golf carts, yes golf carts.  We will be running, on the road, through and bind the Canyon Springs Golf Course.  Proper shoes should be worn while running, adequate helmets will be required while cycling, and most important, the proper life jackets must be worn during the kayaking, canoeing and paddle board events!  Please get plenty of rest the night before, drink enough water and have proper nutrition for the day of the race, and again HAVE FUN!!!

Timing:

Race times will be provided by Vector Timing  http://vectortiming.com/ so all racers can see their times for each event during the race.

Course:

Please review the course maps on the "course maps" page on the website.  There will be adequate signage and volunteers to point you in the right direction from start to finish.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be along each route to provide water and support to the racers.

Parking:

Parking will be available at Centennial Waterfront Park, Twin Falls, Idaho.  Look for the River Dash Kayathlon signs and volunteers wearing orange shirts to help park you.

Start/Finish Line:

There will be one start time and one finish time located in the same area.

Staging of gear:

Staging will need to take place before the race.  We will have adequate stands for all bikes, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards will need to be set on the grass, by the water, with all your proper gear!

Raffle Prizes:

We have been lucky enough to get some local companies to donate some great raffle prizes so stick around after the race for some sweet prizes!
